Bracher is an American born designer, his education includes Interior and Furniture Design in Danmarks Designskole, Copenhagen, Denmark from 1999-2001 and Bachelor’s of Industrial Design, Pratt Institute, New York, USA from 1992-1996. He catches the attention of the design world on his first creative work called “Open Privacy” from year 2001. This is an arrangement of tables and chairs designed for use in public café’s. Made of plywood, carton and steel tubing, his sculptural installation was designed to examine the limits of privacy. He considered his designs to be respectful, patient and understated.

According to him in one of his interviews, “There is a limit to consumerism but there is no limit when it comes to understanding and inspiration. Designs are without a particular taste or cultural aesthetic, but in a language that is understood by everyone.” His aim is to create work that is useful and thought provoking and those that reveal themselves over time to the user. Bracher look forward to create designs that inspire the thoughts, create an emotion and bring fascination.
