The hotel’s style coalesce a classic sense of sumptuousness and style with modern amenities to make your settle as comfortable and tranquil as possible. Furniture and fixtures includes the use of mahogany desks and armoires highlight each of their 92 spacious accommodations.

They offer luxury rooms for tranquility, embellished with Queen Anne antiques and the ultimate extravagance - the Royal Suite furnished with comfortable canopy queen bed, designer Duvet covers, feather beds & down pillows, fine linens, twin fireplaces and a whirlpool bath. The dining and living room offers a space perfect for couples on their honeymoons also for small receptions, gatherings and business meetings.

The Kensington Park Hotel other than it’s lavishness also offers a smoke free environment. People who chose the hotel left some remarkable testimonials during their stay.

The Royal Court Suite, of course, was perfection. It was roomy enough for all of our guests to gather after the ceremony, and so richly furnished that our friends thought we spent far more than we had! We loved that we had a large sitting area for our guests, and that the two bathrooms could accommodate everyone so easily. We also enjoyed the feeling of being pampered by coming in to our room to find complimentary water, toiletries, and newspapers, not to mention the coffee and tea and the outstanding cleaning service.

San Francisco’s Hotel Union Square

Posted by janette on 6th June 2008

Hotel Union Square’s new design showcases the building’s architectural beauty while celebrating San Francisco’s eclectic style through texture, pattern and color. The location of the hotel, in the center of Union Square and right on the cable car line, evokes such a sense of the city, and from the designer Riley Johndonnell , he wanted to make sure to incorporate those elements into the hotel. Still preserving the historic architectural elements of the original structure, the result is a visually stimulating fusion of contemporary and classic San Francisco - beautiful brick walls, mosaic murals, signature staircases, and opulent moldings are complemented by a rich color palate, sleek furnishings from San Francisco-based furniture company EQ3, completely remodeled bathrooms, and state-of-the-art technology that caters to both leisure and business travelers.

Carefully and meticulously designed to give the feel of a sophisticated urban apartment, rooms are equipped with platform beds with custom-built cream tufted leather headboards and well-appointed 600-thread count linens, lustrous dark wood desks, soft chaise lounges, flat screen televisions, custom lighting and expansive capsule-shaped mirrors. Various rooms have an open, loft-like design with exposed brick walls and “floating” white paneled ceiling installations. Close hallways are elucidated by mercury-striped lighting that emits linear shade on the deep grey walls, redolent of the nearby cable car tracks.

The edgy, sexy annex rooms are the ideal intimate space for couples. Walls are bathed in deep red; large platform beds, many with oversized cream “rolled” custom leather headboards, and expansive mirrors complete the room. Two specialty “Sleep & Soak” rooms on each of the five floors feature extra large, spa-like bathrooms outfitted with corner soaking tubs with frosted tri- panel glass doors, and a chaise lounge right next to the tub.

Situated in the center of San Francisco, Hotel Union Square is renowned for its central location - surrounded by top restaurants, world-famous shopping, theatres and nightlife.

The finest lobbies create a shelter and refuge for guests such as tourists, for the business trekker, for the couple or family taking the pleasure of a weekend getaway. Every lobby blends the best of their function and form as you don’t just introduce your sense of style but also anticipating their every need.
